to lead men to belief in Jesus as the Christ, the Son of God and the Giver of eternal life -- through the selected use of miracles and dialog from Christ’s ministry.
to trace the development of believing faith through John’s gospel
1) as an encouragement to each man's own faith
2) in order to more effectively cultivate the growing faith of those in their spheres
of influence
