We would like to introduce ourselves to you!

Here's a little bit about us...

	Mrs. Nafziger is in her 2nd year at CPS & enjoys being able to work side by side Godly women each week. She feels blessed to be here amongst the children where she can show them the love of Jesus. She's married to Steve (12 yrs. this July) & raising 2 very active boys - Devin (7) & Conner (5) who both attend Smoketown Elemetary in the CV school district. She's currently a member of Millcreek Bible Church in Strasburg where her family's been attending for over a year now. Her hobbies are gardening, shopping & "girls days out" w/friends & family. 	Mrs. Ford has been teaching at Calvary Preschool for 8 years. Prior to that, she taught in a childcare facility and a Catholic school. She graduated from The King's College (previously in Briarcliffe Manor, NY) with a degree in Physical Education. Her first teaching job right out of college consisted of preschool assistant and early childhood PE classes. She fell in love with the preschool age child. She began her own family and now has 3 children: Tess (13), Abby (12) and Parker (8).	Currently Teaches: Toddlers Monday/Wednesday Tuesday/Thursday Friday
	Mrs. Wardell I am so happy to be teaching another year at Calvary Preschool. I began teaching in 1993 and earned my EC degree from Lancaster Bible College. I taught at several schools before coming to CPS in 1999 and have seen our school blessed in so many ways and am excited to be a part of it! I believe children are a wonderful gift from the Lord and are to be treasured - each one is unique and I learn as much from them as they do from me! My husband Todd and I live with our family in Lititz. We have two sons, Lee 21, Alex 19 and one daughter, Kelsey who is 6. Our oldest son is a Lance Corporal in the Marine Corps and our younger son just graduated from high school and joined the National Guard. He will also be attending school once he is finished with his military training. Kelsey begins first grade this fall. We are so proud of each of them! Our family attends Calvary Church and is very involved in many areas which keep us busy. We also enjoy hiking, cooking, and "projecting" around our home. 	Mrs. Siebert is new to Calvary this year but has been teaching preschool for the past 10 years both in Lancaster and in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Prior to beginning her preschool career and having her own children, she graduated from Grove City College with a BA in Elementary Education and taught 5^th grade in Oklahoma. Mrs. Siebert and her husband Pete have three very active kids. Jacob is 10, Luke is 7 and Molly will be three in the fall and in Mrs. Ford’s class. She spends most of her time at the soccer field, at Faith Bible Fellowship Church and storytelling with Tales From The Trunk. Storytelling is one of her favorite parts of teaching preschool. It gives her a chance to engage the kids in books and literature and plant a love of reading that will hopefully develop for years to come. 	Mrs. Dearborn I’m very excited to be part of the team at Calvary Preschool! Teaching has always been my passion, and after graduating from Lancaster Bible College, I did just that with 3-5 year olds at Covenant Child Care Center for 4 years. From there I accepted a position with my church, LCBC ,to fill the role of Director of Children’s Ministries which I enjoyed doing very much for almost 5 years. During my time on staff at LCBC, my husband Philip and I were blessed with 3 children! After our third was born, we felt God’s leading for me to step down and be at home fulltime. So for the last 6 years I have been raising our kids in Maytown where we live. When Philip and I aren’t cheering our kids (Michaela is 10, Ryan is 8, and Jack is 6) on at their sporting events, we enjoying biking, swimming, and cheering on our Philadelphia teams. I look forward to meeting many new faces in my classroom and helping them discover their unique value in Christ.	Currently Teaches: 4 & 5 year olds T/W/Th
	This will be Mrs. Long's fourth year working at Calvary Preschool. The first two years I was a teacher’s aide, than a co-teacher, and now lead teacher in the classroom. As to my education, I graduated from Practical Bible Training School (now Davis College) with a certificate in Christian Education in 1975. I recently graduated from Lancaster Bible College with an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. I have found working with preschool children both a challenge and very rewarding. After graduating from Practical Bible Training School, I became a home missionary with Teen Haven for 4 years. I worked in Philadelphia and then in Lancaster, where I met my husband Jeffery. Although my husband, Jeffrey, and I have no children of our own, we both have poured our lives into other children’s lives. Before coming to Calvary Church, Jeffery and I worked with the AWANA organization for 25 years as leaders both locally and at Scholarship Camp, and were members of the Ministry Board here in Lancaster for 15 years. Since coming to Calvary, I have worked as a Sunday school teacher, Discovery Club teacher, and in the preschool. I enjoy studying, taking Precept classes, and trying new and different ideas. I like to laugh a lot and have a lot of fun, we learn best when we enjoy what we are learning. I look forward to this year with great expectations and much excitement. I hope this will be a very enjoyable and fun filled year for all involved.	Currently Teaches: 3's and 4's T/W/Th
	This is Mrs. Weaver's second year at Calvary Preschool. She has enjoyed getting back to work after taking some time off after the births of her two daughters, Abigail (5) and Mikayla (3). Mrs. Weaver attended two years of college studying Elementary Education and has worked as a preschool teacher and teacher's aide in previous years. She and her family live in Lititz and currently attend Lancaster Evangelical Free Church. Her hobbies include pastel drawing, scrapbooking, flower gardening and crafts. 	Mrs.Kindler is in her second year of teaching at Calvary Preschool. She graduated from Lancster Bible College in May 2009 where she majored in Bible with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education. She is very excited to teach one of the 4 day classes at Calvary! She is a recent bride and is excited about the plans God has for her and her new husband, Peter. 	Mrs. Keller feels blessed to have taught at Calvary Preschool for the last sixteen years, and to have watched it grow from 48 to well over 200 preschoolers. Her elementary education and library science degrees have been a great foundation for teaching her Tuesday, Thursday morning pre-K class. Teaching and relating to a new group of children, full of life and personality, and their parents has brought much joy into her life each year. She and her husband Barry, a local orthodontist, have enjoyed living in Lancaster and raising their family of two daughters and one son in Lancaster these past 20 plus years. In her spare time, Carol enjoys walking, reading, trying new recipes, and playing piano and violin.	Currently Teaches: PreKindergarten Tuesday/Thursday
	Mrs. Wolfe I am excited for my second year as an aide at Calvary Preschool and to be a part of this wonderful ministry. I have a daughter Bethany and a son Addison who keep busy on the soccer field, basketball court and baseball field. We attend Landis Valley Christian Fellowship. I enjoy reading, going for walks and spending time with family and friends.	Currently Aides: 4 & 5 year olds T/W/Th
	Mrs. Bewley graduated from Cedarville University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. This is her third year teaching five days a week and having two different classes. She says that it is a joy to come to school every morning. Lauren attends church at Calvary and assists in the second grade. She is also the women’s volleyball coach at Lancaster Bible College as well as an assistant track coach at Franklin and Marshall College. In her free time she enjoys running, reading, scrapbooking and hanging out with friends, family and even kids.	Currently Teaches: 3 & 4 year olds M/W/F Tuesday/Thursday
	This is Mrs. Boll's fourth year teaching at Calvary preschool. She is a native of Colorado where she received her BA in Social Science and Elementary Education . Mrs. Boll taught elementary school for five years in Colorado before moving to Pennsylvania in 2005. Her two children, Kaylee (7) and Joshua (5), have both attended Calvary Preschool. Her husband is employed at Ten Thousand Villages and is a native of Lititz, Pennsylvania. She and her family are members of Erb Mennonite Church in Lititz. Mrs. Boll and her husband are youth leaders in their church, and she is also involved in a women's Bible study as well as other church activities/responsibilities. She enjoys sports and exercise, spending time with her family, as well as going out for coffee with friends.	Currently Teaches: 4 & 5 year olds Monday/Wednesday
	Mrs. Hurlbert graduated form LBC with a degree in Early Childhool Education. She began as an aide at Calvary Preschool 6 years ago and has taught her own class for the past 6 years. She is married to Rich, an Associate Pastor at Calvary Bible Church, and has two daughters, Whitney (20) and Taylor (17). When not teaching, Terri enjoys gardening, biking and spending time with her family.	Currently Teaches: PreKindergarten M/W/F
	Mrs. Shadeck: This is my third year here at Calvary Preschool. I am very excited because with change comes fresh ideas and challenges. I have an Elementary Education degree from Villa Maria College in Erie, PA - now Gannon University. I taught the last eleven years at Lancaster Brethren in Christ Preschool and spent 17 years teaching in a Catholic School prior to moving to Lancaster County. I love teaching and ministering to God's little ones. They are very precious and help keep me young at heart. I have three grown children and two grown step-children. My husband Mike and I have been blessed with three beautiful grandchildren Kayla 14, Alyssa 11 and Collin 4. We spend most of our free time with the grandchildren. I attend LCBC. I enjoy attending the Women's Bible Studies there. I love reading, cross-stitching and scrapbooking.	Currently Teaches: PreKindergarten Monday - Friday
	Mrs. Hilton: This is my second year at Calvary Preschool. I feel blessed to be an addition to this great preschool and wonderful staff. My husband and I have 3 wonderful boys. Tyler is 11, Ryan is 6 and Jason is 4. These guys keep us busy with all of their activities! We spend a great deal of time on the baseball field and at the basketball court. We attend LCBC and enjoy spending time with our family and friends. I enjoy running, reading, shopping, and coffee!	Currently Aides: Toddlers Monday/Wednesday Tuesday/Thursday Friday
	Mrs. Zimmerman has been teaching at Calvary Preschool for 6 years. She is thankful for the opportunity to teach God's Word to the children and to watch their excitement as they learn new skills. Mrs. Zimmerman and her husband, Jan, live in Leola with their sons, Andy and Matthew. In her free time, she enjoys reading, creating greeting cards with rubber stamps, spending time with family and friends and attending her sons' sporting events. 	Mrs. Craig received her undergraduate degree from James Madison University in Early Childhood Education and Psychology. Before having children, she taught preschool, third grade, and fourth grade in Virginia and Ethiopia. Shortly after moving to Lancaster in 2001, her family started attending Community Fellowship Church where she has been teaching Sunday school for the past eight years. She completed a Masters Degree in Reading and Language Arts at Millersville University in 2005. As a mother of three daughters, Mrs. Craig believes all children are treasures from the Lord. In her free time, she enjoys running, cooking, reading, hiking, and spending time with her family and friends.	Currently Teaches: 3 & 4 year olds Monday/Wednesday Tuesday/Thursday
	Mrs. Wissler is in her seventh year as a teacher's aid at Calvary Preschool. She considers the children and staff of CPS a great blessing in her life. Mrs. Wissler lives in Brownstown with her husband, Reid, and daughter, Megan (17). She is a senior at Conestoga Valley. Her son, Drew (20) is a sophomore at Concordia University, Irvine, CA. Mrs. Wissler is a member of Calvary Church and has been a part of Children's Ministry for 26 years. Mrs. Wissler enjoys reading, spending time with her family and attending all the sporting events of her children.	Currently Aides: PreKindergarten Monday-Thursday
	This is Mrs. Groff’s first year as teacher at Calvary Preschool. She and her family are members of Calvary Church and she is very involved in early childhood ministries. She has been a Sunday School teacher for the 4 year old and kindergarten classes as well as an aide for the 3 year old class. Mrs. Groff also homeschooled her children for three years and has worked at a daycare with toddlers and school age children. Even though her educational background is in business and finance, she feels the Lord is leading her to work with children. She is very excited to have this opportunity to be a teacher’s aide at Calvary Preschool. Mrs. Groff has a husband, Matt, and three daughters; Emma (8), Ashley (6), and Lauren (4). She and her family live in Ephrata.	Currently Teaches: 4 & 5 year olds Tuesday/Thursday
	Mrs. Good This is my first year at Calvary, and I am so excited to be a part of such a wonderful team. I love helping little ones learn. I had a wonderful time volunteering as a story teller at the Lititz Library for a few years. I have two great kids. Melody is eight, and Cody is six. My husband, Doug and I have been married fourteen years. We live in Brownstown. We've attended LCBC for thirteen years. I sing and play keyboard on our worship team there. I enjoy listening to music and making music, art and games. My favorite pass-time is reading. I especially enjoy christian fiction.	Currently Aides : PreKindergarten Monday-Friday
	This is the third year that Mrs. Malone will be serving on the staff of Calvary Preschool. Her past experience has included teaching and assisting in Kindergarten, a Pre-kinder class and developing and teaching Spanish language curriculum ( grades 1-8 ) at the Immanuel Christian School, Springfield, VA. As a former missionary to Ecuador, South America, she has enjoyed introducing some basic Spanish language to the four- year- old class taught by Miss Mable. The Malone family consists of two sons; Dan, his wife Irina and two sons, Andrew and little Alex. Bill, her younger son, lives in Alexandria VA. Mrs. Malone is an active member of Calvary Church. She attends the Koinonia ABF for Spanish speakers on Sunday mornings and assists in various special events for that group. Mrs. Malone graduated from the Washington Bible College with a major in Bible and Theology and a minor in Christian Education. She also completed a year of concentrated Spanish language studies at the Rio Grande Bible Institute and Language School in Edinburg, TX. While living in VA, she attended George Mason University, taking several graduate classes related to teaching the Spanish language.	Currently Aides: 3 & 4 year olds M/W/F
	Mrs. Herson I'm looking forward to the 2010-2011 school year - my first at CPS! I spent most of my growing up years in South Jersey as an MK and came to know the Lord through the loving and godly influence of my parents. I graduated from Houghton College with a BS in PE/Health. I spent a few years of my professional career coaching field hockey at Houghton and Philadelphia Biblical University. For the past 15 years I served at Delaware County Christian School teaching in their PE/Health Department and as Athletic Director. Most recently I worked part time as the Assistant AD at DC after my husband, Mark, and I received the blessing of our miracle daughter Elle, now four. I enjoy doing anything active with my family and running - although I enjoy finishing a run more than I enjoy starting a run.	Currently Aides: 3 & 4 year olds Tuesday/Thursday
	Mrs. Snyder Mrs. Snyder graduated from Elizabethtown College with an education degree. She taught six years as an elementary teacher in Manheim Township, substitute teacher at Hempfield, and 24 years as a teacher/aide at Landisville Mennonite Nursery School. She has been at Calvary Preschool for 5 years as an aide. Mrs. Snyder has two sons, Jeffrey, and David who is married to Aimee and have four "loves". Mrs. Snyder is "one happy camper" and is striving to "love the children to the Lord." She is so thankful to be a part of Calvary Preschool.	Currently Aides: Pre-Kindergarten M/W/F
	Mrs. Prouse This will be Mrs. Prouse's first year working at Calvary Preschool. However, she has taught fifth grade, special education and first grade in the past. Mrs. Prouse is new to the area. She is Canadian, but had lived in Kansas for the last five years until her husband received a job with Case New Holland at the end of last year. They have three children, Jaxon, who is six and starting first grade this fall; Luke, who's four and will be in the pre-k class and Sawyer, their daugher, who is two and also going to be at Calvary. They are all excited to be going to preschool this year and seeing what God has in store for them!!	Currently Aides: Toddlers Monday/Wednesday Tuesday/Thursday

	Mrs. Perez was born and raised in Spain. She came to the U.S. as a nanny and to learn English in 1997. Two years later she got married in New York and six years later she moved to PA with her husband, son, and a baby girl born this past July. For the past four years she has been attending Calvary Church where she is a member and enjoys helping in Children’s Ministries. She has been working as an aide in Calvary Preschool for the past two years where she enjoys teaching Spanish to her little ones.	Currently Aides: 4 & 5 year olds Tuesday/Thursday

Mrs. Williams: 2008/09 is my 19^th year working at Calvary Preschool. I have been an aide, a teacher, the Director/Teacher and finally for the last 14 years Director of the school. The children and their families are my passion and it is my desire to serve them.

Another passion of mine is missions and I have had the privilege of going on 10 mission trips from the church; most of them were opportunities to teach children. My hobbies include sewing and quilting.

Aside from these and over 30 years of teaching in the church, my greatest classroom has been my home where my husband Brian and I have tried to instill in our 4 children the love of God and a desire to serve Him and bring Him glory. We have 4 children: Leigh (25) who is married to Jonathan Ober and has our first grandchild Morgyn Leigh, Whitney (22), Peter (19) and Shannon (16).

Mrs. Hixson

Mrs. Hixson graduated from Westminster College and is ready to take on her new role at CPS as the Administrative Assistant.

She is a member of Calvary Church and is active as a 2^nd grade Sunday School coordinator. Susan also is the wife of David and mom to four boys: Drew, 15, Sam, 12, Joshua, 9 and Christopher,6 .

In her “spare” time, she enjoys attending her son’s baseball and soccer games, praying with her Moms in Touch group, scrapbooking and having coffee with girlfriends.
